Aventail, formerly Locai, helps organisations use AI with sensitive data while controlling which models process requests and where processing happens. Aventail Link runs supported models on your devices. Aventail Control manages devices, models and routing policies, including approved destinations and fallback paths. External AI providers can be used where policy allows; requests routed to those providers leave the device. Aventail Workspace provides chat and document workflows. Desktop downloads are available for macOS (Apple silicon), Windows (x64) and Linux (x64). Model and hardware compatibility varies. Free supports personal and business use with 3 connected devices. Starter is £50/month excluding VAT, with 10 devices, higher storage and transfer allowances, and email support. Additional usage is charged separately.
