About

ToonTone is a small browser game about guessing cartoon and anime character colors. Each round gives you a character prompt, and you adjust hue, saturation, and brightness until the color feels close to the target.

A normal game has five rounds and ends with a shareable score image. I played a recent round and got 7.4/10. Homer and SpongeBob were easy for me, but Naruto and Captain Hook pulled the score down.

The game is quick, casual, and free to play in the browser. It does not require an account, and includes free play, a daily challenge, a leaderboard, and a small color library for browsing character palettes.

💬 Maker comment

I built ToonTone as a quick browser game around color matching. Each round gives you a cartoon or anime character prompt, and you try to match the color with hue, saturation, and brightness sliders. I liked the idea of making a small game out of something visual and low-pressure. A recent test run gave me 7.4/10. Homer and SpongeBob were easy, but Naruto and Captain Hook were harder than I expected. I’m still tuning the scoring, so feedback on whether the game feels fair would be useful.
